Describe loading at each end
Select forklift, loading dock, manual handling, tail lift required or not sure for both addresses. Give dimensions and weight so equipment suitability can be assessed.
A tail-lift request needs confirmation. Platform size, capacity, vehicle position and load stability all affect whether it can be used.
Check the onward path
Mention steps, slopes, gravel, soft ground, tight turns and long distances beyond the unloading point. A wheeled pallet truck cannot be assumed suitable for these surfaces.
Agree exactly where the goods will be left and who will move them afterwards. Indoor placement, unpacking and installation are separate requirements.
